On the day of your reservation, please arrive at the Nordic Center, which is located at the east end of the Hood River Meadows (HRM) parking lot. To access it, travel 1.2 miles north on Hwy 35 from the Mt. Hood Meadows and Bennett Pass exit, following the signs for Elk Meadows and Sahalie Falls Loop. Look for the blue flags at the building, which is the first one on the right at the entrance of the parking lot and access road.&nbsp;Keep in mind that the barcode you receive is not your ticket. You'll need to bring this barcode to the Nordic Center to exchange it for your lesson, rental gear, and/or trail fee. If you need to rent equipment, please arrive at least one hour before your lesson. We cannot promise room to store items, but there are cubbies available for small personal items and shoes/boots if renting from us.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;The Nordic Center offers snacks, cold drinks, hot cocoa, drip coffee, canned beer, and wine, as well as gloves, hats, headbands, sunscreen, and hand warmers for purchase. The nearby Hood River Meadows Lodge, accessible by Nordic trails, has flush toilets, hot sandwiches, draft beer, grab-and-go snacks, and the Mount Hood BBQ Food Truck (check their hours).&nbsp;&nbsp;What to Wear&nbsp;For comfort, wear thin wool socks with your Nordic boots, which should fit snugly but be flexible. Most skiers find insulated snow pants too warm, so a base layer with thin shell pants is recommended. Mittens or glove liners work best with Nordic poles. Dress in layers to adjust for comfort depending on your activity level and weather conditions.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;SNOWSHOE RENTALS &amp; GUIDED TOURS&nbsp;&nbsp;Snowshoe Rentals&nbsp;If you have reserved snowshoe rentals online, you can them up at the Sahale Lodge Rental Center in the Main base area or at the Nordic Center in the Hood River Meadows lot.
