Mt. Hood Meadow is your winter wonderland all season long but especially during the holidays. The season is well underway as the resort welcomes more snow heading into the holiday week. Meadows already has a five foot snow depth in the base area and 90 inches at midmountain. And for those dreaming of a white Christmas - the forecast has plenty of snow this week.
In addition to daily skiing, snowboarding, Nordic skiing and snowshoe tours, Meadows offers special entertainment, holiday camps for kids and adults, extended hours with early loads at Hood River Express on designated peak days and Park and Ride shuttle transportation from Portland. Meadows' sister ski area Cooper Spur is open for the holidays so we’re ready for all kinds of fun in the snow this holiday season!

Operational Hours
Early Load at 8:30 AM on Hood River Express Lift
Again this season we will open our Hood River Express lift a half hour early on Peak Days from Monday, December 26 through Sunday, January 1. The lift loads at 8:30 AM and attracts those who have their equipment and don’t need a lesson to an early start of their day. Tickets can be purchased or redeemed at the Hood River Meadows lodge. The early opening helps distribute our arriving guests on Peak Days simultaneously to two different parking lots which allows for a much smoother parking experience. The HRM early load is scheduled from December 26 through January 1, and then Saturdays and Sundays in January and February, along with MLK and Presidents Day holiday Mondays.
