Mt. Hood Meadows is shifting into high gear this week, with the night season lighting up Friday, December 16 and Park and Ride weekend and holiday shuttle transportation from Portland revving up Saturday and Sunday, December 17 and 18. With another huge La Niña storm dropping nearly two feet of snow the last two days, Meadows has a base area snow depth of 65 inches with seven feet at mid-mountain. It’s been a great start to the season as the resort prepares for the holiday season.
