As more flowers continue to bloom at Mt. Hood Meadows, the areas along our hiking trails are continuing to get more colorful. Right now, the Stadium Loop Trail (No. 5), is a great example of this, and is our pick for Hike of the Week at the resort.

Summer is warming up, accelerating snowmelt from the upper mountain and revealing more of our hiking trails. Our main trail out of the base area is called the Bear Grass Trail, and we expect that in the next two weeks, you'll see the Bear Grass flowering, which is almost a month behind last season. The hot temperatures are shedding snow, and the waterfalls are spectacular!
