From this Saturday’s Full Sail Banked Slalom to the Sno-Kona Pond Skim on closing day May 7, events are making a SpringSational comeback to Mt. Hood Meadows. After a two-year pandemic hiatus, Meadows' most anticipated events will be presented with fervor and an invitation to welcome everyone to the mountain during this awesome time of the season. Meadows is open daily through April 24, with extended weekends April 29 - May 1 and May 6 - 7 to accommodate spring skiing and great events on the mountain!
Meadows Spring Passes are on sale for $249 for adults ($229 for seniors 65+, $199 for ages 7-24, and $29 for kids 6 and under) and is offering an incredible Spring Beginner Progression Package that includes the Spring Pass, plus three group lessons and unlimited equipment rentals for just $299.
There are also special lift ticket and learning deals associated with the different events, including a special $30 ticket for Suits and Boots April 23 to raise money for the Human Access Project, and discounts on learn to ski and snowboard packages, snowshoe tours, and lift tickets to make the mountain more accessible for Pride Day April 16.
Meadows has also added two Vista Snowshoe Tours on April 8 and 10 to accommodate the demand for these spectacular experiences. Snowshoers catch last chair on the Vista lift, get uplifted to the 6,600 foot level and take a guided walk along our southern boundary above White River Canyon, enjoying panoramic views of Mt. Hood and the Central Oregon Cascades. The tour concludes with dinner at the Alpenstube.
The entire Spring Events Schedule can be found on our events page.

Come cheer on snowboarders as they wind and carve their way down this fun and challenging banked slalom course with a start at the Mazot and an awards ceremony on the base area deck.
It’s fun race maties - with this pirate-themed event to raise money for the Meadows Avalanche Dog program and presented by Double Mountain Brewery. Register for runs and win some prizes hosted by our friendly dogs.
A celebration of diversity and special discounts to make the mountain even more accessible. Special learn to ski and snowboard packages, a two-hour guided snowshoe tour to Umbrella Falls, and a specially-priced lift ticket for the day highlight the event. We’ll also celebrate with a party presented by Migration Brewing and 503 Distilling with live entertainment at Vertical. We are excited to take this day to celebrate our Meadows family, our guests, and our community. This day and event will support and celebrate our LGBTQ+ riders and families. We can't wait to see our colorful community up here for a day of riding-- come as you are and we look forward to celebrating Pride Day with you.
It’s a funraiser - and fundraiser for the Human Access Project, which is transforming Portland’s relationship with the Willamette River through conservation, education and stewardship. 100 specially-priced $30 lift tickets will be sold in advance on the resort’s website. The only hitch is that you have to show you are wearing a suit to pick up your ticket! We’ve expanded the definition of “suit” - beyond swimwear - three-piece suit, snowmobile suit, suit of armor - pretty much anything that suits your fancy except - birthday suits (we’re still a family mountain)! Consider it more of a fun costume day than a swimsuit day - so dress up, join us, and let’s raise some money for making the Willamette River more accessible! Suits and Boots is presented by Kona Brewing.
Saturday and Sunday, April 30 & May 1 - reVEGETATE
reVEGETATE, sponsored by Ninkasi brewing, will pay tribute to the pioneering nature and creative presentations of the original Vegetates. This two-day Rail Jam event will feature some of the best skiers and snowboarders throwing down on a course set up with great viewing from the base area. A vendor village with manufacturers, sponsors, sustainable organizations and a live DJ set the vibe for spectators at the event. The competition format will be a jam session with finals to determine the winners. The event will once again raise funds for the Eagle Creek Fire Restoration project.
Kona Brewing brings the flavor of the islands back to Meadows for our season-ending premier event. Fearless competitors brave the icy waters of our 100 foot-long base-area pond, dressed in costumes and intent on impressing the crowd for prizes and glory. Live music, thrills and spills and liquid aloha from Kona Brewing make it a sensational day!
