We received 18 inches of snow in 24 hours ending at 6 AM Friday - which is providing good coverage. Now this was very light snow - meaning we aren't able to generally track pack. But it is allowing us to harvest parking lot snow and start to build up our base area lift ramps. We are gearing up for a potential limited opening featuring our Buttercup, Easy Rider and Daisy lifts Sunday or perhaps Monday. We will confirm our plans Saturday morning on our conditions page.

The Facebook Live broadcast above details all the prep work going into getting the season rolling. We expect that once we open, we will continue with daily operations and open more lifts and terrain as we receive more snow. The forecast is calling for another 2 - 3 FEET through the weekend.

Masks are no longer required when gathering outdoors in Oregon - so we will not be enforcing mask wearing in our lift lines (unless regulations change.) We do urge our guests to take all precautions to prevent spreading the virus including getting vaccinated, staying home when symptomatic and appropriately social distancing.
Indoors masks are required at all times unless seated and actively eating or drinking in our designated dining areas. Masks are also required when riding in our shuttles.
Meadows still has a lot of positions open that we are hiring for. We are not exempt from the problems businesses face with understaffing, and operations could be affected by these shortages, such as a restaurant not operating as scheduled, certain lifts not operating or even an adjustment in operations hours. We have adjusted starting wage range from $15 to $23+ / hour depending on the position. We encourage you to join our team.
