A message to our guests and team

A snowboard carves the perfect groom at Mt. Hood MeadowsIn light of the recent announcements in Washington and Oregon, we are receiving questions from guests about our operations.

At this time we do not expect disruptions to our scheduled daily operations.

We have taken precautions and proactive measures to prevent the spread of infection - and this has been presented on our blog. According to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), “For the majority of people, the immediate risk of being exposed to the virus that causes COVID-19 is thought to be low. There is not widespread circulation in most communities in the United States.” We will continue to monitor the situation and take guidance from the CDC, state and local health authorities.

We are fortunate that the activities we enjoy here on the mountain, naturally provide social distancing, and we will continue to be vigilant about our disinfectant routines in our lodge areas and shuttle vehicles. We continue to tell our team that we want them to stay home if they are feeling ill.

We urge everyone to educate themselves about what they can do to protect themselves and others. And we encourage everyone to practice frequent and vigorous hand washing, use hand sanitizer when needed, refrain from touching your face, and wipe down commonly touched surfaces with a disinfectant.

Stay informed - Stay healthy.
