The seven inches of new snow these last two days has refreshed us! Wednesday was just one of those out of this world days. The upper mountain lifts - Vista and Cascade both opened at 8:55. These temps in the teens means no deicing and the winds have been tame - so hello upper mountain!
For those looking for freshies, Heather was open from A-Zone down, allowing access to Clark Canyon. The shot above was from Heather Woods. There’s enough powder stashed that with this cold temps there’ll still be freshies on Thursday.
And if you prefer to make soft powdery turns then Vista is for you. Check out the video featuring a run or two on the Vista chair - it really was powdery perfection linking turn after glorious turn in the sunshine. The entire mountain is refreshed - and we hope you can join us for some fun in the sun before the big storms arrive Friday!
