Mt. Hood Meadows has some of the best powder conditions on the planet right now. Seriously. It’s deep and feather light. And while the powder is plentiful, delightful and fun to play in, you need to be aware and take precautions to enjoy safely these primo conditions.

Okay - maybe we’ve been doing too many snow dances! The current forecast would make Saturday the storm of the season - with high winds and the possibility of one to two feet of snow in a 24 hour period. That’s going to be awesome for our season (and for building up the Cascade snowpack) but for tomorrow, let’s say we expect it to be gnarly.

With the weather forecast for this weekend, we don’t expect we’ll be reaching capacity in our parking lots either Saturday or Sunday. However, we will still be running the Hood River Express exclusively from 8:30 - 9:00 AM for those that want to get some early turns in.
And we’ll run the Hood River Shuttle from the Expo Center on a limited basis this weekend. The schedule is posted above.
