Mt. Hood Meadows will open for the season Monday. The resort has two lifts - Buttercup and Easy Rider - scheduled from 9 AM - 4 PM. The resort has an 18 inch base and thanks to lowering freezing levels, is receiving snow rather than the rain that was initially forecast. Snow harvesting will begin to supplement the base area snowpack and build the ramps for the two lifts scheduled, as well as an 8 feature jib park for freestyling, and the Ballroom Carpet beginner’s conveyer.
